ART IS REBEL

 Art is rebel, artists display the meaning of expression in a way which makes the viewer take up a cause which makes them feel a part of something big, something which makes them feel that they can move mountains. Art is dominance, you can't rip it off once its out there the creator has something over you which you can't possibly have over the creator. Why do we see so many creators these days ? Dominance, it is to display a signature style, a thought which is not in words, writers are artists too but visual comprehension outweighs the prose. Ideas are identities wrapped in a solenoid, you can see every remnant reflecting a part of the grand vision, the clothes, the gait, the slang, the ultimate persona expressed through what ? ART is dominance. Do whatever you want, the kind of dominance art leaves is unparalleled in human history, the earliest paintings in Spain or India, stick figurines displaying a simple chase between animal and man. At the first glance it looks a simple painting but no it is the fight, the survival which the human was trying to show and send a message which stands true till this day that survival is key, the chase is replaced by some other object, for us it the chase between money or fame or success but for the prehistoric person it was the animal. ART is survival, it survives the test of time, it doesn't move but it moves you, makes you think and act like your life depends on it, footballers listening to music before ripping it up on the field, it makes their blood rush and makes them feel that this is it. 

From fashion to obscure paintings with no meaning everything is ART, Rick Rubin in his book "the creative act" states that everyone is a creator and the way you live, the way you do things is art and i couldn't agree more to what he says because it puts a seminal point which binds together the fundamental principle of art that is originality what you do is being done by you and it is different because you ultimately are a single individual and no two individuals are the same, so your style is unique to you even though you are desperately trying to copy but it still consists as ART.  I never considered myself as creative but lately I've started believing that the way you think and shape your thoughts that's the starting point of being artistic, this channel must be further expanded into other realms and find your medium where it all splashes out. That's the process starts, and to quote rubin again, he said "he has immense confidence in what he likes and dislikes, immense trust in his taste" that is so good. Write it down if you need to, but that makes so much sense, your confidence in your taste is the most important thing when it comes to expressing your art, Quentin Tarantino one of the finest directors of movies has his style etched in stone for everyone to copy but can anyone do it like he does ? Many have tried to, but his confidence in his taste is what brings out content which refines itself over the years. I believe ART is not restricted to music, painting, writing or movies, it is everywhere it is in your thinking, in your ability to tackle problems and bring out solutions and also how you handle your relationships. A novel method is ART, a new way to live is ART, experiencing life in different ways is ART.
